BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I'm just a Dummy but I wonder if wheel bearing failure was the start of your ride from Hell.

    Good call.

On my '94, on the way to work one morning, the front end felt "funny".
Hit the brakes and the truck pulled left.
    WTF?

Hit a driveway and my tire rubbed.
    WTF?

The bolts had fallen out that attached the LCA to the tension rod so when I hit the brakes or the drag from the driveway while compressing the suspension it caused the bottom of the knuckle to move back.

Called 5 Toyota dealerships before I found one that had the parts in stock.
Nursed the truck the 40 miles to Corona and reinstalled the bolts in their parking lot.

It was the Vatozone ball joint.

Used to see guys on FSC that would use those parts, and like the OP, replace them every year since they had a lifetime warranty.

Problem is, the shit parts may or may not last a year.

    Invest in Moog.
