It's either a wheel or wheels out of balance, bent wheel or a bad u-joint. There are other possibilities but these 3 are most common.

If pressure down again. You probably have something in tire an my have a broke belt in tire making it shake.

If the dealer hasn't addressed it, I would take it to a good tire place and have them check it.

Pretty sure it is. I've read 2nd Gen having same issue. Mine kinda does it. If I throw my keys in the passenger seat, I can kinda hear them. Idk. Almost 21k miles, it's whatever.

Same deal. Under 100 miles on my truck. I'm coming from Jeep world so I know all about f'd up drive line vibes. Was hoping to avoid this with my Toyota. Mine has 33's that the dealer installed on 17" TRD pro wheels. I thought maybe it was due to the suspension on the pro until I got on the highway and realized there was an "issue." Gonna take it to Discount and see what they say about the balance.

I just brought mine in for the same issue, rattling at 70-80 mph. It's feels like when you hit a small bump it reverberates through out the cab. They told me that they couldn't replicate the issue or identify it while driving at 80 mph. I called them out on their bull crap since they took my truck in at 2pm and there was heavy traffic on both sides of the freeway. I asked where they took the truck to get it up to 70-80 mph, to which they replied the freeway....

So I said "Unless you are Doc Brown and made it a flying DeLorean to get 88mph there's no way you got that type of speed on the 10 freeway during rush hour." He leveled with me and said that I needed to do a test ride with a shop forman before 9am on a weekday. So that's what I have to look forward to. I've been putting it off for a week or so I just don't want to deal with the bull crap of going down there taking a whole day to get it "Maybe" figured out.

Ive learned to take my vehicles to reputable shops, especially if they specialize in that specific type of vehicle. Dealerships like to beat around the bush, why would they want to work on something thats under warranty and not have a single dime coming into their pockets. Im not saying they're all bad, but still. I have a 370z, would bog out after start-up, dealership kept it for ever and did nothing nor could they figure it out. Things they thought were the problem they didn't want to fix because they weren't 100% sure, which meant if it wasn't fixed it would be wasted parts and labor. I had enough of that and took it to a shop that specialized in Z cars, turns out all I needed were my throttle bodies cleaned out and bam! it worked. Private shops need your business and care about their customers especially with yelp these days. In the end, It was a whole lot less stress, time, (more money) but well worth it. I sat down and had me a beer while the guy worked on my car. No BS, just great customer service.

When customers come in wig a concern at 70-80 mph we aren't suppose to drive that fast. Normally you should of been told ahead of time. Anything above posted limit you're not really permitted to duplicate. Not saying that some guys won't test drive them over the limit but I'm just saying from a technical and legal standpoint they aren't suppose to.

Im having the same issue. I have 430 miles on mine. between 70-80 if you look at the passenger seat headrest, it looks like its moshing like a punk rocker lol. All I did was put some bfg k02 a/t on it. I even went back and had them re balance it. Its much better now but it still vibrates between those speeds. Haven't had time to go to the dealership yet . Ill post if I find a fix

More than likely your tire lug nuts are over torqued and you need to adjust to 83ft lbs or/and you need tires balanced.

More likely it's the first and hardest to get the dealer to do as they hate using torque wrench over impact so if i were you I'd diy or pay someone.

    It's that simple, problem solved!
    Cheers!

I swapped out the stock tires as soon as I drove it home. There was a lot of traffic so I never got past 50mph. When I put the Toyo M/T's on they pulled to the right and vibrated so I took it back and swapped for BFG a/t and the pull went away but the vibration was still there. Went back again and watched them balance it and we both verified numbers were solid. The vibration is pretty subtle now and if anything is getting better now that I have put a few miles on the new tires. I struggled with vibrations on my 07 OR almost the entire time I owned it lol Something about these Tacomas and vibrations... almost like peas and carrots

No, I only now of 2 shops in my area that offer that. Its not cheap, but its 100% the way to go if you want accurate balance.
