285/75R17 on methods, Icon RR front with UCA, dakars with fox 2.0's out back. CBI Dakar Hybrid with homemade 1/4" skids. 4.56's with ARB.
Just space your mud flaps out towards the tires then, cheaper than a new set of tires and it'll Hum good

Both my Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 and Cooper ATPs are noisy.

I think any legit AT will hum. Buying on that need is pretty silly. Buy whatever AT you want, they'll all make noise.

I'm with you, man. I like the noise of mud terrains on the pavement. I have 285/75/16 BFG AT's and they've got a good dull hum to them, but when it's time for new ones, I'm getting BFG 255/85/16 MT's.

Can't say I understand wanting louder tires, seems a bit foolish to me but having said that, my Toyo at2's had a little hum to them. Never really noticed until I put on a set of grabber hts's which seem nearly silent compared to the toys.

I know from prior experience that BFG All Terrains will hum beautifully after a few thousand miles are on them.

Hey, speaking of wanting loud tires, does anyone know what size nuts and bolts will fit in the combustion chamber of the 4.0L V6? I really don't like how Toyota leaves all that empty space in there.

I have the KO2s in 285/75/16 and the only time you can really hear them windows up or down is from 20-40 mph other than that you can't really hear them in the truck with the windows down I don't know what it sounds like outside as it goes by cause I don't trust anyone else to drive my truck

OP, don't let the haters get you down. Some folks like loud exhausts and huge speakers in their truck, but I think that's dumb. Different strokes for different folks! I'm like you in enjoying the whine of tires on pavement.

I am running Kelly Safari's, 285-75-16's. Not overbearing but still have some noise.

For all you guys wanting these sound effects. Do you travel long distances in these trucks? I mean like road trips, say more than 4 hrs one way? Or are you mostly local use and off road?

I know whut OP means, sometimes 4x4 sound cool blasting down the road and you hear the tires first and last

but, OP, guess what ? if it's under you...it gets really really old after 10 minutes. then you start a career of domestic violence
