Here is a video of the issue in question: https://streamable.com/b7a45
    Excuse my dainty hands haha.

There's a loud buzzing noise coming from around my center fan vents. It happens when my engine is running and I can suppress some of the sound if something is on top of the dash as seen in the video. How can I minimize this noise?

Does it go away or get quieter when you turn the fan off?

It sure does sound like an air compressor!
It still makes the buzzing noise if the fan is on or off.

I've played around putting pressure on different areas of the dash. If I push down on top of the dash towards the passenger side (near the airbag compartment), I can recreate the buzzing noise. I can't tell exactly the source of the noise, but it seems like it's actually coming from the defrost vents near the passenger airbag.

Try and reach towards the windshield and pull up on the dash. Maybe it's rattling against the windshield

The blower motor is on the passenger side. Maybe unplug the power to the motor which should be accessible behind/under the glove compartment. Or check to see if the rubber bushings in the firewall are missing for the feed in lines for the heater core/A/C lines.
