I've got the Flow Master Super 44 and its loud...especially in the cabin...the drone tickles my ear drums sometimes lol...I also have the pipe chopped over the axle so that makes it louder in the cab too

the best way for you to hear your exhaust is to run a hose from the end of your exhaust pipe up into your cab.

oh, and make sure all the windows are closed, so the sound resonates

With how loud the 40 is with stock headers, I could only imagine the 40 with the long tube headers getting rid of the cat's.

Yea it was pretty damn loud. When i started it the first time, i was extremely impressed but when you get it above 2000rpms it got a little out of hand. Idling and barely getting on it has a nice ton, but anything more is a little to loud for me.

    .
my favs are when I have to pass some jackass on the freeway so when i mash the pedal, they can't help but notice me screamin by, even when their stereo is bumping i drown it out. Shit even guys are Harelys turn their heads when I open it up. I will also cruise it in neutral going down in parking garages to see how many alarms i can set off. The best is there are a few tunnels in my area, one is the caldacott and the one that goes from oakland to alameda. The alameda one goes down under the estuary, levels out for a bit then grades up and out to alameda. late, late at nite I have rolled down the windows if the tube is empty and just floored in downhill into the tunnel, by the time i hit the unpward slope I'm doing close to a hundred and roaring like a bat outta hell. My fear is that you could probably hear me comin for days, cops sometimes hang out on the other side. Yeah, I'm a big fuckin kid and i like my toys, they ain't just for lookin pretty!

Stupidly load exhausts are the cats ass. I've had plenty of street rods with headers and glasspacks over the years - not to mention my Roadie that sets off car alarms as well. Now that I'm up in my years I have a partial hearing loss and a constant ringing in my ears. Doesn't take a genius to figure out why. If you want to have the same, keep on going with your plans. Not trying to be an ass, just trying to give you a heads up.
