When making sharp turn or going up the driveway. I hear a loud noise the sounds like a spring.

Here’s a little summary. I recently installed Bilstein 5100 in the front myself. I used the original springs and top hat. All bolts are in their original spots. I only hear it from the drivers side.

I had a similar issue when I installed the 5100's with OME 887. I would get a loud metal on metal sound on sharp turns and going over bumps. Once I went with a sway bar relocation kit it fixed the problem. Torch makes a cheap one for around $30. Maybe this will help you out.

Is this the kit? I noticed it says it’s for a lift but I don’t have one. Will this still work?

So it’s the sway bar making the noise? Maybe I will unhook the sway bar link and see if the noise disappears.

If you lifted your truck with the 5100's it could be causing the issue. Once I went up 2" with my 5100's I started hearing the noise. If you did not lift with the 5100's it could be something else. The link you shared was the same kit I got. It's a little cheaper if you buy directly from them.

I will just try unhooking the sway bar and take it from there. It makes sense that it would be the sway bar. I also forgot to mention I have SumoSprings in the front too

What does a spring sound like?

I don’t know why you would need a sway bar relocation kit if all you did was replace the shocks and adjust the ride height via preload. You haven’t changed anything about the suspension geometry.

My kit from headstrong came with a sway bar relocation kit but I believe it’s purpose was to clear the larger diameter king branded coil springs. My memory might be a bit foggy.
