When I bought my truck the dealer tried to get me for 89 dollars for nitrogen. I wasn't buying that. I said drain it and put air in it. It's all just air anyway. I don't know how some people can be that stupid to fall for it.

air pressure seems to have maintained. No nails or screws. No visible damages. Just puzzles me why tpms light would come on.

F.Y.I. Drove Semis for 35 years. Have had an inboard right trailer tire blow on the rear axle while I had the cab windows closed, the A/C on, and the stereo on, and I STILL felt the air pressure increase briefly, almost 70' away, on the opposite side of the truck from the shock wave! If you are next to a semi tire, and one explodes it will damn near BLOW YOU into the median and it COULD blow out a side window.

If everything seems 100% normal, it may be nothing. Perhaps the sensor didn't like the rigs tire blowing out, if that's what happened. Something must have been going on with the rig next to you from what you described. It's possible if it's tire did blow, you may have ran over a chunk of it, and maybe the impact set off the senor? Give everything a good going over and watch the tire pressures for a few days and if nothing is found, forget about it.

Nitrogen is the biggest scam since the pet rock, dry air is 78% nitrogen.

The pet rock was a success because it was endearing, not because it was logical.

Now.. 15 cents worth of plastic with a 10 cent bearing and now the world is fidget spinning itself into hell where it belongs.

Tire was actually low in air. Added enough air to make the tpms warning go away. Been 24hrs now. Still normal.

Explosive fidget spinner is a work in progress. Had a few minor setback due to small fires but it's going in the right direction.
