Loud power steering plus milky fluid

    Yes. Use a turkey baster or something to suck as much fluid out of the reservoir as you can before taking it off. Any you don't get out will spill out the bottom when you lift it off.

    Gyrkin is correct. Also I just realized that you have the 6 cyl. motor. Your pump is a bit different then mine, but there are lots of online resources to discover how to work on it.

    UPDATE: Pulled the reservoir. The screen was completely clogged and blocked by thick gunk. Gave it a bath in gasoline for a half hour. Totally made the screen clean. Put on a new o-ring and re-fitted the reservoir onto the pump. Had to gently tap it with a wood block and hammer to seat it all the way. Tightened it all up, filled with fluid and flushed it out a couple times. Works like new again, no whine. Thanks!!
