Not sure if this has been covered but I have a loud rattle coming from the passenger seat. It is most noticeable when I hit a pothole but if you hit the back of the seat it is really evident. Sounds like it is loose on the rails

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

    Normal
Have someone sit on it and it will go away!
    Enjoy your truck

    Cheers!

Maybe the seat belt hook banging or rattling against the pillar. Mine does that and it drives me crazy. They got rid of the little clip that would hold it in place. Just like they removed the OS handle on drivers side and little seat belt clip.

Take it to the dealer. Schedule a ride along so that they can sit maybe in the back seat to hear the front seat rattle. Tell them you want it fixed. It's not acceptable for a new $35k truck to rattle like a 20 year old dodge. It might be "normal" for these trucks to rattle but that doesn't mean it's acceptable. Get it fixed. Make them fix it.

Are you absolutely certain that it's not the seat belt buckle hitting the pillar trim?

No, I put felt on pillar to deal with seatbelt rattle. This is definitely the seat. I will check bolts. Thank you

It could be a wiring harness tapping or something loose in one of the seat adjustment mechanisms.

Its not normal and its not acceptable for a $45k truck(TRD Pro). I have very few issues with mine but this is annoying as hell.

I will be ok the seats probably not locked down on the rails properly, sometimes you get an between setting on the adjuster and it makes rattling noise. I notice on my truck the same rattle.

The back still has clips. My 07 had clips for the fronts too.

I had a rattle on my front passenger seat when I first bought it that drove me nutz!

And there was nothing technically wrong with anything but I found a quick fix.
But since you don’t have a sense of humor and wanna be a wise-crack I won’t tell you how easy it is to get rid of it and I’ll let you fight it out with the stealer instead .

    Cheers!

There is a wire harness that sits right on top ot the plastic heat duct under the seat. Depending on seat position it get pretty close to touching.
