Once a year, the first weekend in May in Gilmer Texas. The Toyota jamboree goes on for like 4 days. Camping and wheeling. This was my first year, and was fun. My trucks all stock, besides tires and handheld the 2 diamond trails good. The rain made it a bit worse, but got a list of mods before next year.

Completely forgot about this thread... Glad to see that LA is waking up.

Edit: Wife and I are about to relocate to Baton Rouge. Definitely want in on some meetups/trips.

So, not big with the overland bound crew. But did pay the 15$ to get access to their maps of campsites. Anyways, they have a southeast rally coming up June 7-9 in ozark arkansa @ Byrd adventure center. It corresponds perfectly with our yearly Arkansas camping trip from the 6-12 at Albert pike. So we are gonna make the 2.5 hour trip north of Albert and go to it. Figured I’d post on here Incase anyone wanted to make the 10 hour drive to ozark and do some trails and camping. This will be my first time with anything with this group of people. So not too sure what to expect, but some guys I met from jambo2019 shot me the info and they are riding out. So I figured why not.

I wish. Gonna have to wait a bit longer since my 2 month old makes trips a bit difficult. Maybe by the Autumn season he'll be easier on the grandparents enough for an extended stay.

I’m going. Never been to a rally, but been a OB member for 3 years or more now?

Does anyone know of quality shops that does gearing? Looking to add lockers and go to 4.88s eventually

    Posted here:

There’s an off-roading course in St. Francisville that looks really great. It’s called “4x4 Life Offroad” and it has 450 acres of hills, fields, creeks, mud pits, and more. There are three levels of courses for beginners to technicals.

My brother-in-law goes there all the time during hunting season (he works with the owner). Anyway, he says it’s very good for wheeling.

Louisianans on this forum should meet up together sometime and go off-roading. If you’re interested, let’s setup a date and all go.

Thanks for posting! Good to know of a local place. It looks like it's a "season pass" only, yet there seems to be a mention of a day pass.

Sure... Priority Mail should get it there in 2-3 days. First Class might be more like 4-5... and you want it fresh.

That's true, it loses most of the appeal when it melts. Damn.

Maybe I'll just drive down to Laffy and visit my grandparents instead hahaha

    Hell yeah, will do!

Nashville has a ton of good food. I just avoid the "cajun" cooking here, and try to remember that what they think is hot, ain't.

You can buy a season pass and go anytime you want. We thought about it since it’s decent camping and some great trails.
