Oh yeah! Me and the fiancé went back to work but we have essential jobs! ALOT of people are with out homes or jobs! It’s BAD! My brother n law lost everything. And my grandmothers house is not livable cause the roof caved. It’s nuts!! Rita has nothing in this baby!

I used to pass through that area on my way to work in Tejas a few years back.

 

Be glad you don’t have to drive through here now, especially after 4 it took me an hour to get to my house which usually takes 10-15 min. There are so many power line trucks everywhere trying to get everything up and going from jennings to orange up to jasper to alexandria were with out electricity

 

Who is y’alls power with? Entergy or someone else?

 

We have Jeff Davis electric! But where we are located our lines tie into entergy, they are suppose to be running our substation on generators this weekend so we can get power! Hope so! Living in half my house it starting to make me stir crazy! Lol

 

It wouldn’t be so bad if me n the fiancé weren’t working and could stay here to work around the house! But he is working 7 days a week 12 hr days. And I’m working 5 days 10 hr days! So I do what I can on the weekends! We just had mainly a bunch of trees down which we got a good bit up. But when we have free time we been helping other people we know. We just gave our camper to someone who lost there house. Told them to come get it no charge.

 

Looks like we might catch Sally on the East side of the state but it doesn’t look like it’ll be too bad so far. I’m done with 2020 y’all.

Could always bite the bullet and get them from the dealer. Or try your luck at a salvage yard, maybe find a set that isn’t sun beaten to Hell.

 

This poor state can’t catch a break! We just got some what our power back here. And they still have more they are watching coming off Africa! They literally put on the news last night they might have to start the Greek alphabet cause the next one will be a “w” name and then they will have to switch to Greek. I was like WTF!!!!
