I'm good any night of the week except Mondays. Usually get wings at Shenanigans Irish Grille on Norris Place or Spring Street Pub and watch MNF.

Shenanigans does $0.50 wings and $3 Sweetwater IPAs on Mondays, Spring Street does $0.75 wings so something to keep in mind

Anyone know of some fireroads or easy trails near by that are open to the public? Not much on beating up my truck, sliders are coming soon, but I'd like to get out with the truck this fall.

Not much close to Louisville.....There was years ago, esecially in Southern Indiana. These trails got abused then closed. There is an effort to open up the old "Brickyards" southwest of I 65 and Gene Snyder. It would be 80% "ATV" if it did open.

Let me know if you plan anything. I get so damn bored down here on the Mountain in Wayne County that I'll make the 3 hour drive to L-ville. Hell, I've done it before... Anyone else ever come down close to the Lake Cumberland area for anything?

Passed through the area last week. We were too/from Harlan County.

Also talking with a friend who owns 2 Bearno's Pizza franchise's...about a possible mid week evening where we could have a shindig. Both in southeast corner of Louisville/Jefferson County, and very near I 64.

Stoked to find a Kentucky thread on here!
Just got my first Tacoma. I'm excited to get it out and do some off trail camping soon. (nothing to crazy yet)
I've lived in Louisville all my life and own the local skateboard shop here. (hence the username)
Needed a good truck to be moving ramps around and taking the dogs out in the woods.
Look forward to some events/meets in the future!

Just being funny! When I was skateboarding in the old school 1970s we wore baggy beach shorts, then fast forward to 2002 and Avril Lavigne's hit song Sk8er Boi:

    He was a punk
    She did ballet
    What more can I say

    He wanted her
    She'd never tell
Secretly she wanted him as well

    But all of her friends
    Stuck up their nose
They had a problem with his baggy clothes

    He was a skater boy
She said see you later boy
He wasn't good enough for her

Good looking Taco, is that your place down on Bardstown Rd? Been past it a few times.
