Just to keep everyone up to date; Found out a few weeks back that I have Multiple Sclerosis and now wrapped up in dealing with the doctors ... So not spending much time working on meet up. If someone else would like to step up and plan this thing, I'll do what I can to help

I will be undergoing an experimental treatment for MS, starting Monday. (May 13th) At that point, I will be out of circulation for about 5 weeks. Once that ends, I will be retired. When we reach that stage, I will revisit the idea of a Louisville meet and greet provided I'm up to the task. If anyone else feels like it, pick up the torch and keep running.... As big as Louisville is, and as many Tacoma's as there are running around here, there should be enough interest to get a few in the same place at the same time...

The treatments (overglorified IVs) are over (for now) so...me and a buddy are headed to Interlake in the morning.

Can meet up I64 Corydon exit. @ 9am Louisville time. bring lunch. I'm looking at 2 or 3 hours on the trail and then home. YMMV.

    Post or pm.

Interlake was fun! Sure not a "drive all day to get there/take a big group/major off road trip" kinda place....But fun. (small park) We covered just about all the trails in 3+ hours. Quite a few nice rock crawler obstacles. A couple decent hills. Some VERY tight trails. (Mostly SXS trails) If you've never been there before, take a fishing pole BTW. State record bluegill taken from these lakes.

75% of what we covered yesterday, a stock truck could do EASILY. Interlake is about 3 miles east of Lynnville Indiana, on Route 68, very near I64 (on the way towards Evansville) Trails aren't difficult. (Rock crawling not included in that...) It would really be a nice place to play around and get experience for beginners. Some red and black trails that will entertain the more experienced drivers/more "built trucks"....

I did smack the skid plates pretty hard on one rock.....Could have been avoided..

Especially when it's dry, "street tires" would not be a huge disadvantage. (Rock base...good traction)

    Just learn to like pinstripes....

MS treatments last week are starting to rear their ugly head as far as after effects....Not feeling so damn sharp this morning. But... Still alive and feeling better than I was 2 weeks ago.

They've helped, thank you for asking. Several of the symptoms went away. Some didn't. Having a really difficult time walking...

    Morning fellas,
I’m from Alabama visiting the area. Would anybody be interested in an off-road day trip tomorrow?

Day trip to Black Mountain. This Saturday. (7-13-19) Leave Louisville @ 4am. Home before dark. Bring lunch. Entering from Putney side.

Taking new driver in stock/new vehicle along...so easy trails mostly.

Very low key trail ride...with 400+ miles of road driving.
