I could not ask for a better tire, there is no compromise for highway or off-road driving.

x2... Personally I think the BFG A/Ts look better, but Michelin A/T2s are much better tires for both highway and off road driving in my opinion.

X2 I cringe to think about Sears touching my tires BUT! I went to a Sears Tire Center to get prices on the MS2 and AT2 and asked the Manager about the Road Hazard Deal and said I would have to get the tires mounted there but not balanced to get Road Hazard(Free Rotations etc.) about 10-15miles North is a Toyota Dealer Im thinking of letting Sears mount get the RHaz. stuff drive very slowly to the Stealership for a Balance and Alignment that way I get it all my way. Plus the Sears manager says my TRD rims wouldnt be able to get balanced they wouldnt fit his balance machine? Holy crap thats frightening

I have the Michelins on my truck. The only thing I dislike is the hard rubber compound tends to slip easier on pavement. I hear the tires chirping even under light acceleration, but it seems all Michs do it, for the longer tread life.

They're LTXs. I seem to remember all my 4Runners had Dunlops...? Softer compounds, more sticky, but shorter lived- like 45,000 on the highway

and a nice quiet ride. I was tired of the howl of the stock BFG. I will post pictures tomorrow.

As a side note, I would NEVER go to Sears for my tires! I just used their online quote for Discount Tires to match. :D

I've got almost 20,000 miles on mine and you can't even tell that they are worn. Love the ride of these too.

So I finally had a chance to take mine (LTX AT2) offroad in the Eastern Sierras. I am even more impressed now. Hundreds of miles of smooth, quiet, excellent handling on high-speed highways, then taking a variety of high-clearance "moderate" rating forestry roads of loose broken rock and dirt, large embedded rocks, shallow snow and mud, stream crossings, lots of 1st and 2nd gear low-range pitches uphill and downhill, and high-range dirt/gravel washboard (~40 mph) and I am a bigger fan than ever. Great all-around tire.
