Lovin’ my 1st Gen Tacoma!

    2000 Tacoma SR5 Prerunner V6 2WD auto off-road pkg +cab
    Hi all. I’m a long time fan of Toyota all the way around. I’m having to [unfortunately] scrap my 5-speed ‘95 Corolla DX wagon, due to under chassis rust issues — but I darn near put 300K on it; and if it weren’t for the body & frame cancer, I bet I could put 200K more on it. That little 4-bangin’ 7AFE motor still purrs like a cat & gets 32 mpg all day long! But alas, it has to go.

    I HAVE however recently purchased a 3.4L, 6 cyl. 2000 Tacoma 2WD auto SR5 Prerunner with the off-road package, with “only” 180K on the odometer — and I’m in love with it! (The frame is in IMMACULATE shape, btw).

    I’ve been trollin’ Tacoma World for over three months now; but decided it was high time I joined as a member. I’m just happy to be here; and y’all look like a great bunch of people. I look forward to mining you for your knowledge on keeping my 1st Gen Tacoma up for years to come & interacting with you!
