    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
The Phillips H9 modification is pretty good, but I did something else and I know some will not agree but try HID’s - The type I linked here work very well with the projector lens - it makes a perfect cutoff for them and I’ve never had anyone flash me back. I wouldn’t use them if you were in a state that requires inspections though, they are pretty obvious if they open the hood and see the ballast drivers for them. I used these for my highbeams to match, but I only use them when absolutely alone and wouldn’t flash anyone with them.

Yeah, replacing the stock bulbs with H9/H1R1 bulbs is a big improvement over the stock halogen bulbs, but they have a short service life, I was replacing the low beam H9s on my 2018 every 10 - 12 months.

[which wiring harness did you use? I am about to install some Oem LED for a 2021

QUOTE="DMYS, post: 30375915, member: 308940"]I replaced the stock halogen headlights a few months ago with Toyota OEM LED headlights. Was pretty easy using the adapter wiring harnesses, have had no issues at all, the headlights are actually useful now!

I was hoping to use a @daveeasa custom wiring harness, generally recommended on this site as the best aftermarket wiring harness:
    https://fbchs.square.site/product/t...true&sa=false&sbp=false&q=false&category_id=2

but he was not able to ship to Canada, I had to order this Morimoto wiring harness from Headlight Revolution instead:
    https://www.headlightrevolution.com/toyota-tacoma-oem-led-headlight-conversion_2?quantity=1

The Morimoto wiring harnesses worked fine, just had to be a little more aware of getting the high and low beam plug adapters sorted correctly; Dave Easa's harnesses are essentially idiot proof because
he has everything so clearly set up and labelled - unfortunately I think he is shut down for a while, might be permanently but suggest contacting him to verify. If he's still got some harnesses I recommend buying them otherwise the Morimoto harnesses will be a workable second choice.

Also, I got custom wiring harnesses for my son's 2022 SR5 Trail Edition from @Puppypunter. Johnny provided me with a lot of information and really outstanding customer service, no hesitation recommending contacting him if you have any harness questions:

Thanks! I am taking over doing the TRD version as well for now. So feel free to hit me up for those as well. Same build quality and parts as Daves, just more dog hair in the packaging

EDIT: I ship to Canada as well, but it's like $20 more.

was kinda neat to see him not just say praise and nothing else about his own product. i stuck with halogens for 2 years waiting for these to come out and i was not dissapointed. by far the best headlights ive ever experienced.

Just checked out the Headlight Revolution site. And contacted eBay seller. No color or matching color to match up high low beam. Hmmm

I can't speak to possible issues with the eBay harness but I had no issues with the Headlight Revolution wiring harness installation. Just need to be careful matching the low/high beam plug adapters correctly. It's basically 50:50 plugging in the adapters correctly, I guessed wrong the first time, immediately evident when the fuse blew and the headlights didn't work! Switched the plug adapters around, replaced the fuse and everything worked.

Yea the two 10a headlight fuses not being blown is what throws me off.
