Low beams don't work, high beams do,

    Remove all wires with contacts from the donor plug . How is this done? What tools are required? Where to buy extra connector?

    Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
    That is a small barbecue under the dash...scary.

    It probably wouldn't be hard to find those parts in a junkyard. I don't know if the 4runner is identical to it. Take some pictures of yours and compare it to whatever you find at the junkyard.

    Low beams don't work, high beams do

    I have the same problem . The switch is not damaged but the old connector is burnt at 17. See image provided. I found a connector with pigtail . Image provided.

    However, how do remove the pins from the new connector ? Is there a special tool needed? IMG_3165.jpg

    You can get a connector pin tool that has a bunch of different little keys on it, or you can try with a needle or paperclip.
