    Hello,
so I just got a response from the dealer and it seems they found a leak through the rear coolant bypass pipe. They had to pressure test it over a 24 hour period with fluorescent dye. I knew it was coming from this area.
The part comes in tomorrow middle day and they said it will be ready by 4pm. I think taking apart the manifold and revealing the rear engine would be within that time frame. I’m going to check literally everything when I get into my truck. The engine, all the hoses and bolts. Not saying Toyota doesn’t Know how, but I just get peace of mind by double checking anyone else’s work on my car.
Hoping this never becomes an issue again on my truck

Oh wow, I was hoping that they had that issued solved by now. Thanks for the update and hopefully everything else works out for you and your truck. Thanks for the update.

It’s definitely a known issue if they don’t want to pressure test it after fixing it haha. God I hope they are right..

Also an FYI. I got the papers back and it said they removed the transmission instead of disassembling the intake system. It’s a manual so it must be easier which is probably why they went this route instead. Just a heads up in case anyone comes across this same issue in the future!
