    Hi All,

I have a low idle after I disconnected my battery. No prior problems. Drove around all week. Over 100 miles. Tried the ignition 3 times and let idle in drive. Throttle position reset. Disconnected the battery several times again. No lights on the dash. Any help would be great.

    What’s the idle speed now?

Start by cleaning the throttle body, it's most likely dirty.

Clean the throttle for sure. You can use WD40 and a rag, you dont need to go buy throttle cleaner.

I’ve heard it takes some time after a battery disconnect for the truck to relearn idle. Has happened to me multiple times. No problem. It relearns it.

Every time I have disconnected my battery my idle will be a little low for a little bit, but it will relearn and go back to normal after a few starts.

Thanks. I’ll try to clean the throttle body.
