I just wired up my light bar, went to start my truck and it idles super low and when I put it in gear it stalls. I even disconnected the light and it’s still doing it.

Just where did you wire the light bar??

Was your negative cable disconnected ??

    Not tight enough when reattached??

Have you looked for open circuit protection ??

So I have a wire running from the lightbar to switch which is positive and then another positive wire from the switch to the battery with a fuse in between and then a negative to ground.
    My negative wasn’t disconnected.
    It’s tight,and no I haven’t

Can you check the volts* on the battery while the light is on and the truck is idling?

    Might be battery or alternator.
