Low Idle and Transmission issue

Well I am not surprised, just got a call from the dealer , the could not reproduce the problem and they said all the fluids are fine and the computer is not giving any errors. They want me to pick up the car this afternoon. I am just going to let this go and make them put a note in the computer that i took the car because of this and if something happnes in the future with the transmission then is their fault

 

Take the name to the people on the deler and call the phone # on page 9 of this thread and take you case# For record

 

I have just over 3600 on mine

 

Mine did it since new, have about 1700miles on it now

 

The issue is the same thing we found with the new 2nd gens . The fluid is low from the factory and technicians are not given the time to properly check your fluid when the truck is sold to you .

Mine is doing the same thing, it surges in Drive or Reverse when cold or even better idling a few minutes. Going to check the fluid.

My 2013 that I'm trading in for a 2017 TRD OR AT next week does the same thing when turning the steering wheel. Always made sense to me.

My BMW Z4's trans fluid is hooked into the on-board computer system, and when low notifies me and my dealer. If Toyota is not going to add a dipstick, then they should do something like BMW. I guess they just repair it if it's under warranty, otherwise we're SOL.
