    Careful on your "degreasing", the oil filter can only hold so much crap before the bypass takes over and now you are running unfiltered oil. Clean/replace the pickup tube and change oil. In 1000 miles pull the filter and cut it open and pull the pleats apart and take a good look, if there are little bits of carbon change the filter more often, oil and filters are cheap.
