Is there a low level light or is it part of the cel? My cel light just came on this morning and wont know till this afternoons I have a oobd2 scan tool. I pretty sure it oil, but wont know for sure. I just procrastinate cause the valve cover gasket has to be changed. It leaks on the back side . Problem it only burn oil for the first 5 min. If it sits for a day there will be a real small drop oil. Any about the light?

It is 4:15 in London. You need the TSB on that as yours came on 5 minutes early. I think MESO might have an after market mod as well.

Well that light never came on. I thought that came on when the oil level was too low?

Pretty sure it means low oil pressure, not low oil level

I'm pretty darn sure there is no oil level monitor. Just an oil pressure switch that triggers the "teapot" dash light.

yup, and if that light ever comes on while driving it's probably too late to avoid damage unless you're able to shut the engine off immediately. Oil would have to be very low for that to happen.

Had an idiot coworker once that thought that light meant he just needed an oil change, $5k later he was getting his engine replaced lol.
