    Hi all,

I have done a swap in my Tacoma and a lot of splicing etc but a problem I can’t figure out is that my circuits from the integration really all seem to be really low voltage. I haven’t done anything to the wiring after it, nor before (I think) but most things won’t work that are fed by it. Dome light, clock, etc. even the gauge backlight only half comes on.
Any troubleshooting people have done in this area?

Have you checked the voltage on both sides of the relay (with a voltmeter)? If the voltage is lower on the load side of the relay, then I would suspect a worn/dirty contact in the relay. If voltage is equal, as in close to battery voltage, then I'd check the chassis ground(s)

Yeah that’s the weird thing, the voltage seems ok until I connect everything back up. Then things won’t work.
I was thinking ground but I haven’t messed with any grounds.

You could try removing the relay and jumping directly across it and see if things work then. If everything works, then it's the relay if not start looking for a bad ground. Typically, if you have a bad contact in the relay and you have no load connected (no current draw) you'll measure the same voltage on either side. It's when you start to draw current through it, if the contacts have a high resistance, then you will drop voltage. Does that make sense?

I did get a new relay from a junkyard but it’s different than mine. I have the brown one with 2 connections the one I got was blue with 1.

I was also wondering if it had a feed from the ECM (my ECM is now for a TDI) but I don’t see one in the wiring diagram.

it’s kind of weird in the wiring diagram because that integration relay does a lot of things but not really looked at in detail in the wiring diagram. It’s in there but usually just a box and not a specific call out of it.

Sorry, now that I understand what an Integration relay is, not sure I am going to be much help. When I think of a relay I think of it as a small current draw circuit controlling a large current draw circuit (like a starter relay). This integration relay looks like it does a lot more than that. I think this is beyond my level of knowledge.

Yeah it’s really not a relay. It’s a small IC basically.

wondering if anyone else has had trouble with them or if there are any specific TS steps for them.
