    Reception sucks on all the smaller ones for the most part... def looks better tho....

    For those that cut your factory antenna, how does the ball come off? And did you all unwrap the wire? If so how do you do that?

    I tried 2 different shorty / stubby ones here in Hawaii and lost all but 1 station on the FM side and got ZERO AM stations. And that's being less than 1 mile from the actual radio station!

    Exactly... even worse if you THINK you might get some HD radio...

    Zero HD signals as well although I though the Tacos used the center fin on the roof for HD signals?!?

    OME lift, AAL, 17" ultra phantom wheels, 32" goodyear wrangler tires, OEM running boards, custom grille, doug thorley long tube headers, URD mark III exhaust with magnaflow muffler, TRD CAI, on demand backup camera switch
    The 4in shorty TRD antenna looks pretty good, but reception is about worthless, and the anodized aluminum fades to gold after a couple months in the sun. I put on the 13in antennaX which has much better reception and I don't mind the bending at all.

    Ahhhhhhhh makes sense. Sadly there's no satellite radio coverage here in Hawaii. Hurricanes? Yes. Satellite radio? Nope.
