Low profile bed rack with movable cross beams??

Hello,
I have been hunting for a low profile modular bed rack for my 2021 Tacoma off-road short bed. I really like the leitner acs forged bc of the ability to fit a dirt bike in the back by moving the bars to the front. I will most likely go with that bed rack but wanted to see if any has come across the same style but lower profile. Hoping for a low profile with a sliding top rack but can still go thru the desert. Any help with these would be great! Let me know if you have any ideas

 

When I was looking for a bed rack I was looking for the same thing. I couldn’t find one that would do what you want either. I built my own crude rack that worked well and was kinda “modular”. Using L track and some aluminum. The cross bars could be easily removed or placed anywhere along the bed rails. Not quite as simple as just sliding them along like the leitner designs rack but it worked for me. Handled a cross country trip out west and thousands of miles with a tent haha.

Nice! Yeah I have a fabricating outfit that might be able to do something like that thanks for showing me. I’m kind of surprised no one has made the same design only shorter. Might even ask them to see if they have firm reasoning for not doing so
