Oh man, wish I lived in a state like that. Used to never have one on the front until the one day my wife takes my car and gets pulled over for not having a front plate. haha she was ticked at me!

I need a front plate so I gave it a shot. A bit flimsy but should be good20180710_105752.jpg 20180710_110856.jpg 20180710_111550.jpg

I bought the same one. I can see an auto car wash being an issue with this plate holder. I don’t use them but ended up just going back to the bulky piece of plastic that came with the truck.

Fear not, your mount is stout. My plastic plate surround is crunched but your aluminum bracket is fine. I'd purchase again in a heartbeat. Given the exposed location anyone purchasing a plastic mount will likely be spending that money again every time someone brails their way into a parallel parking spot.

Thanks! I agree, which is precisely why I made the bracket. I have tried to keep the price reasonable, while still making it worthwhile for me to produce and ship them. At $18 shipped First Class I hope I have found that sweet spot where the price is not too high.

I live in CA and I got a ticket while my car was parked for not having a front plate the other day.

Glad Ohio did away with stupid front plates.

I just added foam to the back of the license plate and mounted it directly to bumper. It works. However, I took mines off for now. Hawaii requires front plates but oh well.

It is pretty much reversible until you bend it.

I cut down the stock front license plate holder. Free! It has been working well.

I did something similar. I didn’t bend the plate and I excluded the bottom screws.
