Looks good! Trying to decide what to do on my 2017 taco sport...do a lot of hunting and the forest roads here in AZ are usually super Rocky and rough. Only planning on going up one tire size though.

I got my 2017 OR DCSB from the dealer with the pro comp lift, 20" pro comp wheels (-12 offset) and 275/60r20 pro comp AT sport tires...the rims were excessive for both my needs and taste, but considering they dropped the price just over $4K to price match an '18 OR DCLB I had local dealers work up pricing. My off road ventures include modest trail riding for camping, backpacking and hunting, as well as some marsh and sand use.

I'll run the wheel/tire combo until new tires are needed, likely try and move the 20" rims (they're nice, but excessive)then move down to a 16" rim and see about running 285/75r16...both for more sidewall, but also because tires on 20s are pricey!

Just got this kit installed a few days ago. Has alignment same day. Then drove over 300 miles, round trip combined, to pick up a backflip g2 bed cover... No vibrations, no pulling left or right, ride seems pretty much the same... Stock ucas.

Though I do notice a decrease in mpg in speeds over 70. Down to 16-17 now. But I don't drive that fast too often so I can live with it.

    BEFORE...

    AFTER...

My question is.... are spacers required if I go up to 285/75/16 tire size and keep these rims? What about 255/85/16?

I'd really rather the 285 because there's more options. I could stick with wildpeak tires, and not have to spend over 700 bucks...

But I'd rather not use spacers honestly.

If the vibration goes away when you put it in 4 Hi, it’s the driver’s side needle bearing. Installed the LRT 3 to 1 leveling kit, took about 3 weeks
and I started hearing a rub, rub, rub sound at 35 - 45 mph. 4 hi went away. Ordered the ECGS bushing and puller. Removed the needle bearing and put the new bushing in...no more grinding. LRT should include the bushing and puller in their kit. Common problem in the Tacoma and FJ Cruiser. I think it’s not “if” it’s when.

I recently installed this kit on my 2017 TRD Sport, and the driver side front fender is a 1/2 inch lower than the passenger side. Th driver side rear is a 1/4 lower which I expected due to the lean, but was surprised to see such a split on the front end. We installed everything per the instructions, and I had the alignment done after installing with no change. Can anyone think of what is causing the difference?

I installed this kit in the spring and had to replace needle bearing not LROs fault. Was able to use factory UCAs. Kit appears to be great quality. For me it gave my truck a slight bro lean which I don’t like at all. Back settled to almost and 1” lower than front. I also got some vibes but all trucks are different.
I also towed my popup camper with this and it was headlights to the sky due to the crap leaf springs.

Just switched out leafs the other week to HD Dakar pack and think truck looks much better. Plan on swapping out front spacers to some OME 886 next spring.
Wish I had gone Dakar and 886 first go round. I have some acceleration vibes w the Dakars but need to mess w shims to get it right.

I'm seeing the same thing.. nose high.
I was dead set against spacer kits from reading all the cons. But I was just at my local Toyota dealer and they use Rough Country spacer kits. Warranty included when they put them on. Said they've done dozens of them with no complaints and maintain factory ride. I think bump stop spacers are the key to these so you dont crush your shocks.
So I'm confused. I was sold on Bilstein 5100s, but now... ??

Just installed the LRT 3/1 kit and couldn’t be happier. It’s the exact stance I was looking for...install took 2 hours (lift and air tools)

Put new wheels on with a better outset. TRD of course. Got a great deal on them new. Still running the same low range off-road 3/1 lift and level. No complaints. 33k miles. New grille too. You can see the new wheels push the tires out at least to the edges of the fenders if not a little further. Added a sweet front cam to her too. She looks great in my opinion. I know this is an old thread but did any of your put longer shocks in the back to make up for the height of the blocks?

    Thanks for any help!

I didn't change anything about the shocks on mine. Fwiw.
