Same issue in my 19 that’s been unresolved for far too long. Dealer was useless. Tried gas. Tried installing shift sense pro for different shift points and didn’t fix it. I’ll try the battery disconnect but I know I won’t be that lucky lol

How did it work for you? I’m in the middle of an 8 hr battery disconnect with about 3 more hours to go. I plan to make an update tonight on the status. I was hoping OP would also make an update on his truck as it sounds like the exact same issue I am seeing on mine.
    2017 trd off-road with 122500 miles.
Cleaned the MAF and recharged my KNN air filter. I guess I might look to clean the throttle body next for shids and gigs.

I'd be curious to see how much the rear axle moves with stock leafs and AAL with that mileage and lift.

Not surprised that disconnecting the battery for 8 hours didn’t solve the issue.

Appears the low rpm shudder / vibration occurs in 2nd or 3rd gear, around 15- 30mph and within the range of 1100-1500rpm. I can make it happen every time I’m in that range but other than that I don’t notice any other issues. Also my truck is 100% stock no lift.

Even w/o lift weak leaf springs can be common, loose leaf clamp bolts can be an issue. Many trannys were delivered new with low oil levels. Hows it act when in 4WD? Not sure if any parts of your drive line is greasable.

It has been an ongoing issue through at least 3 tanks of gas, would you still think water could be an issue? I’ll try the enzyme treatment tho.

2019 49k miles sport, this just started happening to me about 3 weeks ago. On my second tank of 93 but no difference. Happens in s mode and 4x. Weird thing is that it started the day after I installed a new head unit and speakers. I know it’s probably just a coincidence but just weird.

Change the trans fluid. Had two 3rd gens with low speed shudder after 60K miles and a trans fluid swap with OEM fluid resolved the issue.

Ok I had the same issue w mine . I have a 2016 TRD OR. Bought it new . I lifted it myself with 30k miles . I did what you did . Changed out my u joints as I thought it was driveline . My issue was exactly like yours at 25 -30 mph at slight acceleration . Power out with no vibration or let out on the gas and it goes away . I tried angled shims for the rear axle. I originally thought it to be a Driveline vibration that once applied power would go away I even put a GoPro in the Driveline to see if I had any drive shaft vibration which is what I was sure of it was it was not.

I ended up buying a case of transmission fluid as a last ditch effort. At first I was reluctant because of the price that's some expensive fluid and they're very proud of it. I did a full drain and refill and it went away I did this at 90,000 miles and now I'm at 150,000 miles. It has never came back. Feel free to PM me. I hadn't logged in to Tacomaworld in a long time but yours thread was at the top. It drove me crazy for about 5,000 miles before I figured it out and I tried a whole bunch of different things I also found the drive shaft on the driver side up front to feel a little loose AKA wobbly. Please excuse me if there's anything misspelled this is speak to text on the way to work

I almost feel like it's a low fluid issue. I'm not sure cuz I was at 90,000 miles and I figured I'd just go ahead and flush it. I have heard that they add the tow package and the external transmission cooler after it lands stateside maybe they don't add fluid who knows

Took to Toyota dealer diagnostic mechanic . They claim my issue is a transmission torque converter and seal leak. Parts are about 1500 and they want 4950.00 for the whole job.
Going to check with some tranny shops and get some quotes lol
… update… I found a shop that will install a 2021 tranny with 1000 miles for 4500.00. Does this seems like a fair deal, boys?

I would just fill it yourself for $120 worth of fluid and keep an eye on it
