    ...stuff
What kind of tires do you all have? To those with the shudder?

My BF Goodrich MTs did that same thing. Swapped for ATs and it went away

I have it with stock tires. Started with less than 50 miles on the truck.

I also have stock tires. I think they have firestones on them. I love the truck, just need to fix this vibration issue. I am going to make an attempt at measuring the driveline angles this weekend and see if I can figure anything out myself, before I take it to the dealer again.

Some Service managers tell a lot of people a lot of things.

And remember, they don't work for Toyota. They work for a franchise owner.

I have this exact same issue, since day 1. I first noticed with less than 200 miles on the truck. When coming to a stop between 0-10 mph I would get slight vibrations. Felt like my rotors were warped. Then I went to 255/85/16 Dick Cepek Extreme Countrys and seems more pronounced now. It is like I am riding a bull, when I brake between 20-25 mph from highway speeds. It is very rough, and does it about 75% of the time. I am at 1300 miles now, and was just going to wait until my 5k service, but because it is so noticeable and bad, I am going to drop it off next week. I will keep you posted on what the dealer finds out.

It is the pinion angle changing under braking causing the vibration to come from the rear yoke. Lots of threads on it. The new leaf spring pack was supposed to fix it but it seems to be a less than perfect fix

Yours sounds identical to mine. Did you take it to the dealership yet?

I too have this issue. Bought mine in March and have had the problem from day one. It was just not such a big deal, so I figured to just wait until the scheduled maintenance. The entire cabin will vibrate when I apply medium pressure to brake, especially noticeable while slowing from 30 - 20 MPH and more pronounced while going down a slight grade. The steering wheel does not shake or vibrate and the brake pedal doesn't pulsate.

I just returned from my dealer for 5,000 mile maintenance and they said rotors were found to be warped and so they cut them. I asked if this is a common defect. And they said mine was the first new tacoma with the problem.... Yeah, right! I seriously doubt that!

So far I can't tell if the vibration is gone or not. I'll post in a few days.

Apologies for not getting back. So, I solved my brake shudder issues, but not the way I expected. My old truck was still for sale, and because it was sitting on the lot for over a month it was heavily discounted. So I went back to my RAM 3500.

Mine does this also. It's a month old with 850 miles. It's going in to the dealer next week. I'll post back with my results.

It's been a month, and about 500 miles, since toyota dealer resurfaced rotors and I still have the same issue. Truck noticeably vibrates with medium brake pressure between about 30 down to 20 mph. Especially noticeable on a slight downhill grade. Not certain what route of action to take next.
