Low Transmission fluid Lawsuit

Good luck getting anywhere with a suit based on unproven potential future harm.

 

Mine was 2 quarts low.....went the whole rodeo with corporate, the gave me a free no deductible 8yr/125k platinum warranty. If it blows the tranny up in that time frame, it will be replaced, and I have a corporate documented case from the issue. If trannys start blowing up, it will probably be akin to the frame rot recalls, where out of warranty customers were still taken care of. I can see your point, but for me, I am not too concerned. If I get worried, I'll trade it in in a few years for something else.

Yep Ford's on staff attorneys will drag this out for years until the plaintiffs give up.

Everything you need is summed up in post 3.

 

To prevail in court, you have to prove damages. Our Tacoma's have a warranty, so if the Trans takes a dump, they will fix or replace it. I'm having issues and I'm presently going through the system. I'm a trust but verify kind a guy. Document your issues ! We all have better things to do with our time, then spending it at the dealership.
