Lower ball joints condition and angle

Complete novice here. OEM lift on my 2018 TRD Off Road 4x4. Looks like I have a bit of exposed grease on my lower ball joints. Is this normal?

Also, is the angle the ball joint is bending at normal?

Fairly normal but a good idea to check them or have them checked.

Tacoma lowers need to be jacked up and the tire pried on upwards to check.

 

I see, so no way to really tell without jacking up the truck? I assume this means the angle/ exposed grease are fine enough

 

Its very typical for Toyota trucks after 5 years or so. I'd document it and check it on a customers truck, but I certainly wouldnt sell ball joints based on appearances.

Exposed joints I will, but grease sweat, no.

 

Makes sense to me. I’ll get the truck jacked up and run some tests this weekend. Thank you!
