Mine did. I went up to my dealership, and my service advisor gave me the plugs. Took a total of about 45 seconds for "install" lol. It worked though!

My 17 came from the Factory with those holes plugged, seems like all new ones should from now on.

Are there the same total number of holes in the LCA as the 2016?

Was unsure if mine was making this noise, but seeing as how the fix was so cheap ran up to Lowe's and bought the plugs and installed. Final conclusion was yea it was.

During my 20k service, i handed over the tsb as i am experiencing the same issue as the rest of you. They test drove it to hear for the sound (even though i showed them videos of how mine sounded). Despite not able to replicate it, they went ahead and ordered for the plugs.

It is so ridiculous that they don't just keep those in stock and install them when a customer comes in and complains. My dealer would not order mine because they couldn't "REPLICATE" the problem. I was washing my truck at home on a very windy day....it howled while the truck was sitting still! So I went to Lowe's and bought my plugs for about $10. The dealer wanted about $80 for me to purchase the plugs....can you believe?

My 17 came from the Factory with those holes plugged, but i agree that the Dealers should keep some in stock.

So despite having these plugs installed, i still have that whistling sound, especially at 75mph. What else needs to be done?

How many where installed? It calls for three each side. There are actually 4 or 5 holes. The tech may have plugged the wrong ones. Mine went away after I installed the plugs

Hmm. So the plugs are not the higher speed problem?

I tried to buy the plugs from the Parts Department, but the dealer said that they would not sell them--have to bring in the truck for them to check it out, and they'll fix it "if necessary." Since my kazoo starts humming intermittently at about 60mph (sometimes) and gets really loud around 75-80mph (always), I'm pretty sure they won't test that--they'll look for it at 40-45mph and say there's no problem.

Guess I'll do the Loews fix. Are there two different plugs I need to buy? How many? I suppose the answers are somewhere up-thread, but it's such a pain to have to go through all the posts trying to find it; hopefully someone knows off the top of their head and can repost it.

3 holes on each side get plugged, either a Google or Forum Search will show which ones, you can try some tape before bothering to run out for plugs to make sure that is the noise you are hearing.

I loved how this "fix" fell off the first time I wheeled. o_O

So easy... I just bought the OEM plugs at like $1.50 each... I know the same thing could have been accomplished from the hardware store for cheaper, but still cheap enough. I thought the whistling sound I heard was coming from my Prinsu (which I have spent a lot of time whittling out wind noise to where it's barely noticeable now in most conditions). Guess not, haven't heard a single whistle with the windows down since installing these plugs!

Haven't done any wheeling yet with them on though so will take the advice and spread some RTV on there soon!

Looks like you have a 2017 DC? Was this issue not fixed on the 2017's?
