lower gear ratios = better mpg?

    I have 265/75/16 tires. If I were to get a lower gear ratio how much power am I sacrificing? My truck is mainly a highway, city truck.

    I think you're thinking taller not lower. You want the numerically lower value, but taller gear. Right?
