Yes we've established already that he wants to lower the truck, and that certain people don't agree with it. It's his truck. Lets move on.

His truck is prerunner (not bad to lower cause 2x4)
As you can see, "4x4" was bolded, not prerunner.

thanks dr. phil. lets move on.

No I saw what you were getting at. If you want a lowered truck and it snows where you live...this would be an option.

Lowered mine a while back with the tundra racing kit. I have never regretted it. Handles better for street use, which is all I do and is much easier for the missus to climb in.

A lowered 4x4 would be pretty cool actually.

Not my taste, but imagine a low riding, 4wd, pickup with 270lbft of torque. Could be a fun thing to drive around in the snow!

    Lots.
I have really wanted to see a lowered 4X4 with a highly modded motor and not have traction problems off the line. I bet it would put down a pretty awesome time.

How do they lower the rear on that Tundra Racing kit? Flip the axle or is it a SUA conversion?

It says it's for 4x4 models also.

How does flipping the axle affect the driveshaft position going into the diff, because the pinion is low stock, right?
