    I actually know a guy who cracked his frame on his X with DJM bolt on but it was because the guy who cut it cut a half circle with a triangle at the top instead of the trapezoid shape that it's suppose to be and the notch wasn't bolted on tight and this guy carries plenty of things in the bed but as for mines it's all g I cut my on point but I want a taller notch and to box it since the jdm one is so shallow

    I'm not sure I just hate how the design is the driver side is a large notch and the passenger side is smaller however with offset pics where the notch is suppose to go I am like at the edge on the driver side and centered in the passenger just overal dumb design

    Bro exactly what my thoughts were like I said just overal I am not a fan if the design but came with the kit and I hated riding bumpstops so did what I had to do
    I didn't cut the part out for the bumpstops to thread through though just in case I re notched which I prolly will and I wanna fix my camber just got it aligned today maxed out -2.0 which means it got worse since when I first did the drop and it's prolly do to my bent plate for my alignment bolt.... Fml got things I wanna do no time to do it and I gotta drive the bitch daily

    Big reason why I haven't notched is because mine is a daily driver, can't afforded to have my truck out if action if a problem does arise.

    I know the scares of notching but the bolt on kit is fine I just bitch about it cuz me want more low but I've reached my notched limit
    The reason for failure is poor installation really
    Weld in notches I'd say are better as long taps the notch isn't shaped like a -^- like this you should be fine sharp edges is what causes crack which is why they say round the edges when cutting the notch
