Did you go lower in the back?

I had my notch installed at a shop. Didn't seem to give him much trouble.

 

Just the 2" that i got from the 4" blocks insted of my 2's. Trying to deicde what to do with the 2"'s, kinda tempted to give them to someone who's thinking about dropping

 

Yeah im trying to find some decent looking OEM 20's that fit, and it should rub unless i drop it more, which like everyone else, i plan on doing. Right now the from wheels line up directly with the bottom of the fender line, so i'll either need a different offset or roll my fender

 

Hehe... I thought that looked like road salt on those tires! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one on these forums with a lowered truck that has to deal with snow.

Not that I want to spend your money for you, but have you ever had snow tires? I won't go through the winter w/o them any more. It's a bummer rolling with the ugly black steelie wheels in the winter, but I'd rather have some traction in a blizzard than look cool in the ditch

I got a little concerned about this number since I just ordered the DJM kit front kit for when I replace my Gen 1 Taco this Spring. However, I just measured the clearance on my Gen 1 Taco that is also lowered 3" with a DJM kit, and the clearance is 6". Whew! I guess if I've lived with that little clearance for the past 10 years in Wisconsin, I can live with it for the next 10!

 

I dont believe that i need snow tires because here in St.louis we only get a little bit of snow and it's usually gone by noon. And with the front brace i'd have to try and do a skateboard grind to get it to scrape i think, just some fun numbers to look at. Can't wait to see what your new Taco looks like when u get done

Yeah i might have to ask someone to shop my truck with a bit bigger wheels, first i want to fix the side, then a satoshi grill and a few other little things before i do wheels. Will probably also buy a 600 sport bike before since rims arent cheap mine work for now

If you have a manual transmission, you'll also need a clutch switch. I'm not sure you'll be able to find that part w/o purchasing the entire cruise control.

Yeah i might have to pick up some different blocks. Every once and awhile it'll make a kinda cuncing sound or something from the rear end that had me worried. Guess the tapper form the blocks was just worried about pinon angle and not location

 

It's the same height, just lighting, since my wheels are so dark it blended in and i was using a better camera at the gas station. bunch of factors

 

I've heard that i cant put the XII drop coils with the DJM arms, is this true? thinking of putting some adjustable shocks and the coils on the front and some 4X4 leafs shocks and maybe a diff block on the back, any idea if that'll work well or will I have to get the old sittin sick stock height coils and a tundra drop kit?

 

I had read the that but i ahd thought i'd seen somewhere else that the 950ppi coils didnt work with the DJM, ill see if i cant find a thread

That's the goal, gonna try and be lower than the GTR, because why not? Just gonna need to pick up helper bags first so i can haul my bike if need be
