Lowered Duallys Why?

damn now that make me want to convince my dad to making a matching set out of his f350 and his shelby cobra his is almost identical to that in the background cept its a 65

That is perhaps the best thing i have ever seen.
If done right a fully bagged dually can tow as much as stock suspension. But it is done 100% for looks.

Plus who DOESEN'T want to be able to do this with their truck.

Also one cool thing i learned about that truck in the video(which is the same one on page 1) its is a Mega-Cab that has had the frame stretched for the long bed. Dodge didn't offer that cab with that bed.

wow, this truck is useless if you want to tow an 8,500lb boat to the ocean, load a yard of mulch in the bed to bring home from landscaping supply store, or install a plow to push 18 inches of snow out of a driveway...like the dropped duallies, doesnt mean its not a nice truck just different strokes for different folks.

i was about to say the same thing. i was looking at it, thinking, wtf is up with this truck, why does it look so different. and then i realized it, and you had already posted it lol.

there's a shop that does this to regular mega cabs, and i think it runs in the neighborhood of $10K to do. im pretty sure tho it wasn't as bad since they had to hack up the frame anyway to bag it, but still, i think it looks rediculouls clean with the longbed. wouldn't want to park it tho lol.

 

The reason they don't offer a long bed is because when they load them in railcars they can only fit 2 instead of 3. So basically due to shipping reasons they never produced them. I had a guy that worked for my step dad that had his done and it was a little over $8000. Mine was bad enough to park but that thing was a mile and a half long. Looked sweet though he had a dually with a 3" lift and 22" semi wheels

 

Horrible pic but I saw this one at BWW a few months ago. It was clean but pointless other than a show truck IMO.

 

oh never heard about the shipping issue, makes sense though. those trucks look ridiculously long, but it must be sweet to have pretty much an SUV with an 8 ft bed.

i didnt really pay attention to this but i have rode in the back of this truck before. he comes to scrapin the coast every year.. the truck looks even longer in person.. its freakin massive. but its bad ass none the less..
