    What he said. Weld it! Spray paint that coating or wire wheel it off and spray paint it. Either way, keep that in the back of your mind.

    Yes I cleaned up the frame and put the por15 to it. And put por15 on the c notch bracket. Gonna bolt it all up and bring it to work and grind down the edges to have welded. And the coat everything again in toyota frame undercoating to match the rest of the frame.

    @Torspd you have the light racing upper control arms? I seem to only find these for 4x4's do they fit on the 2wd? You also mentioned ohlins coil overs strut tower adapters and PAC Racing springs, can you give more info on these, maybe like part numbers. I have been trying to piece together a QA1 coilover kit instead of waiting for XII but having trouble finding an adapter for the strut tower. I have seen a lot of 4x4 ones but not sure if its the same for the 2wd.

    I have a set of DJM arms but would like to look into the light racing ones if they fit a 2wd.

    I have the XII springs but had to ad .5" spacers to get it even with the 2in blocks, but now I am getting some bump steer. I attribute this to moving the spindle up and screwing with the geometry between the two arms.

    Well that explains it.

    Does anyone know where I can get an top plate coilover adapter for a 2wd. Or has anyone modded a 4wd one to fit?

    Total Chaos used to make a suspension kit for the 5 lugs. They would have the strut tower adapter, or capability to still get them.

    Then I believe the QA1 coilovers need to be the 19" ones. Don't exactly quote me on that.

    However, the XII kit also comes with a bracket for the brake line. As well as your choice of spring rate. 600 ppi is my recommendation.

    Have you tried emailing or calling them? They are much quicker that way.

    So far I have figured out what XII uses
    QA1 Proma Star Single Adjustable Coilover #DS501
    Eibach 14” spring 550 lbs/in #1400.250.0550S

    So I just need to find a top plate for the coils and I should be able to fabricate a bracket for the brake line.

    The springs and coilovers can be bought for 560 on summit.
    If I can get the top plate from Total Chaos that will add to the price.

    I sure I can piece the kit together lower than XII pending the top plate.

    I found a company that can fabricate me a top plate if necessary but I will need to remove my strut for accurate measurements.

    I would rather not go through the work but I contacted XII is not selling the kit right now(out of stock), and it seemed they would not be available till next year.

    If anyone has the XII coilovers and could verify the part # that would be great.
