Talked with a tech today at SPC. They said these light racing adjustable UCAs are only for raising not lowering tacomas. That the angle for the pivot joint would not be good. I commend you @Torspd for all the research you had to do with your Toyota Tacoma cause Nobody really lowers 4x4 tacomas.

I don’t have a build page... It’s just a tundra racing kit on a tacoma 4x4 sport. And I custom cut an xrunner body kit to fit

Ultimately, I'd like to get uniball UCA's, but the time and cost didn't permit back then.

Sweeet! Got any pics? And im curious how much did you trim your stock mud flaps? Mine are dragging whenever i back into my parking space at work, so thats quickly moving up on my to do list.

Also, do you know by chance how much your wheel/tire combo is with the new 285/55/20s? Ive been considering a set of t4r limited wheels like you more and more lately..

Blower is going on mine this weekend and hopefully i get the front lowered in the next couple of weeks. Should be getting the lowering coilovers assembled this weekend too!

The 4runner limited rims are the replicas picked up from a local shop. Specs are 20x8.5 +25 . Paid $2150 for rims and tires originally.
Picks show about how much I cut . Maybe 4in or little more .
So what coil overs you running ?
Will follow your build . Blower and coilovers  :burnrubber:

Nice!! Love the way those look! I thought you had some take offs from a 4runner. Im guessing the specs on yours are a little different!

I say "coilovers" just because people get butt hurt on here if you call them struts lol. But theyre nothing fancy, just some newer bilstein 4600s with the different spring perches that come with the sos kit, and some progressive springs off of a TRD OR so that theyre a little firmer.

Yea the factory limited are only 7 in wide . Not sure of back space.
Interested to see how your front combo works out . Just replaced mine Monday with stock sport bilsteins I picked up from local member with about 10k miles on it($40) . Had 70k mi on mine .Nice to see another option .

Yeah thats what im doing as well. Found a set of takeoffs with 17k on them from one of my buddies on here. Im hoping the OR coils arent too stiff, we will see. Im thinking itll be noticeably firmer, but hopefully the shocks help smooth it out more. My stockers have 47k on them so i figure its about time to replace em anyway

Did you have to have the wheels custom made? Or were they something they kept in stock? Im assuming you need a little wider rim to run the 285s?

And any noticeable loss in power from the larger wheels? Im thinking that would be the only downfall. Id like to keep my wheel tire combo as light as possible

Wheels are replicas not custom made . Its 8.5 in wide .Yeah theres minimum recommended width for tires . Seen replicas on ebay when I was looking but shipping to Hawaii would have negated cheaper price .Only problem I had with the replicas was clear coat started yellowing and cracking after about a year and half. Hence powder coating .
As for power loss really didn't notice much difference at all if any . Not a down fall for you with your up coming super charger install .
