    also, just got back from a drift event with my buddy and his 1UZ 240. Makes me want to get the drift truck build going sooner now. I'm thinking the drop leafs and less block will help. I also plan to throw in a Detroit/True-Trac in the rear end. LCE header, EGR/Emissions delete, and short shifter. The front end suspension wise is pretty dialed already.

    Yeah that's about right. My truck is notched and I'm probably gonna be installing an even bigger step notch when I 4 link it.

    Hey all, looks like i'm a few years late to the party but here's my 1st gen taco I just picked up. I am aiming towards the 3/4 drop from DJM because i'm a bit concerned about hacking the frame if I'm going to be high HP in the future. I Just bought it as a weekend toy and eventually plan to do a 2jz swap and want to do an occasional drifting day at some point. Is anyone using the calmax 1315 & 1900 struts that DJM offer?

    Definitely.. and that's the only thing I'm still unsure about. It's such a bulletproof little motor.. and it would probably Outlast anything else I have. Which would be the "smart move"

    Getting ready to install the SOSPerformance 2"/3.5" drop on my 2010 TRD Sport. I know 95% of the Taco world rolls their eyes at this but IMO the 2 WD Taco needs a street stance. No reason for a factory lifted stance on a truck that will never leave the street. Hopefully will get this in the next week or two and will post up some pics.
