    Regarding the headlight bulbs
I am sorry but I searched my order history and I cannot find the bulbs. From what I can remember, it is a crazy bright LED, and I did change the housing also. I don't remember if the housing came with the LEDs or not. It is a better cleaner look than the other LED headlights with all the little LED lights in them :)

right on, appreciate you looking into it. Found something like these- https://www.headlightexperts.com/le...MI2aC-sKjBgwMV1jbUAR3LCQGZEA0YASABEgJ6XvD_BwE Definitely like the clear bright look opposed to the foggier dull look of the stock setup. Going to have to do some research for mine.
One more ?, I noticed you have a tow strap on the rear under the roll pan, was there an appropriate spot to mount that or was that a fabricated spot for mounting. I’ve got a roll pan in the box ready to swap out “trying to shorten the rear end up a bit for Auto-xing” and was thinking about popping a tow strap back there as well.
    Thanks again

    Re tow hooks

Both front and rear tow hooks are bolted to the frame. They are fully functional- ie you can actually tow the mini with them :)

Finally got out the casa after having the good ole flu for the past week. Had to fire up the rides and one of them was my ogtaco. Of course she fired right up. Installed my Sparco race seats back in December but have yet to cruise her further than around the block. I’ve got stacks of new parts just waiting to go on. Hoping I can squeeze some wrench time in here soon. Snapped a quick pic of her though. Luckily the tacos been wrapped up and under the covers, just like I was for the past week lol.

Major thanks Mic! I will totally post some pics by this weekend. Gotta get some stuff unpacked and ready for install anyways! My birthday is Wednesday and my lady was nice enough to buy me some new Bilstein suspension and a LCE performance Header. They should arrive within the next 2 weeks. I’ve got a roll up bed cover, roll pan, powerstop drilled and slotted brakes, nrg quick release steering wheel hub and assembly and a few other goods just sitting here waiting for myself to get to wrenching. I’ll be ordering the Sparco wheel as a bday gift to myself here shortly. Work has and is consuming my every minute right now…. Hoping that mellows out a bit after the 2nd week of March. I did get my Sparcos installed. Attatched a photo of the Wheel I chose! Keeping the red, black and white theme. NRG hub is a nice anodized red as well.

always appreciate seeing pics of your taco as well! Definitely on the same wave length. Style for miles

Good Sunday yall! Hope everyone’s weekend has been great. For the Cali peeps out there. I’m rooting for y’all’s 49ers to take the win. lol I’m tired of reading about all the KC blah blah haha.

I was able to get some time in with my bro yesterday to wrench on the Taco a bit. Bed Cover, fabricated spoiler and reverse sensor all knocked out. Spoiler was a quick way to gain some down force for when we Auto Cross. Really helps with the corners. He’s had his on for a few months now and after some testing we put one together quite quickly for my ride. I was going for a bit less of an angle than his to help with mpg while rd cruising. He’s been driving the heck outta his Taco lately getting some stress relief. Reason his may look dirty in the pics. Gotta drive the Tacos like they want to be “hard” lol. Hope yall enjoy and until next time. Much peace!

Took her out for a little cruise, wash and some fuel! Figured I’d share. Going to get it inspected and registered as a “classic” here next week. Custom Plates on the way

Good evening everyone! Figured I’d post this quick. I was able to get with my bro today and we washed the rides and switched out some suspension on the Taco. The Bilsteins are such a righteous ride. Smooth cruising home. Next are some new wheel hub bearings. I’ll get some pictures of the front tomorrow morning. Wish I would have taken more pics but we were on a bit of a time crunch. I’ll keep y’all posted on how they cruise once they settle a bit.

Afternoon y’all, I posted this in the first Gen thread as well. Hope the day has been smooth so far. I finally found a day off and decided to put some time into the taco. A simple exterior cosmetic refresh but one I’ve had on my list for quite some time now. Lucked out on the weather down here in south Texas. One day down the rd I’ll be getting the entire truck painted but until then, just sealing up the faded and exposed areas has helped the look of this project tremendously in my opinion. Good ole plastic dip for the rear window and trim area. Not bad for an hr or so worth of work. Beautiful day so took her out in a cruise.
