    T3/T4 ar .63 turbo 2.5" straight piped exhaust from the turbo back no muffler. Tial 38mm waste gate vented to atmosphere. Thats what that puff of dust was coming from under the truck lol

    '97 SR5 Tacoma my first pick up!
    No mods yet but the plan is: - ladder rack for paddle board - bbs type 15" rims - slammed - chain steering wheel car is all original and has 148k miles, panels are clean and arguably the cleanest one I've seen for sale over the last 3 months.
    Here is my '97 taco with the djn 3/4 drop, now I'm stuck in the decision process for rims and tires. I was thinking going 15x5 or 6 in the front and 15x8 in the back with the artillary or gloss black smoothie wheels from Coker Tire, and go with the wide white wall. Thoughts?

    Any thoughts on the rim idea would be most appreciated!

    I'd like to lower my Prerunner, but all I find is people saying "trade for a 5-lug" However I don't wanna do that as this is my first truck and I like it quite a bit.

    The only restriction I see on the front end is the closeness of the bumpstop. The rear end seems easy, just flip the springs under the axle with a new mount. Then you could easily lower a Prerunner while not ruining its ability to be a 4x4, just install a front lift and re-flip the springs back over to the top of the axle and boom back to a prerunner. Would bump stop relocation and cut coils work for the front?

    And I've seen the Tundra racing kit but I kinda want more that 2" lower, more like 3-4" lower. (maybe more since prerunners are naturally taller than 5-lugs) I wanna run SCS F5 wheels with a street tire but that'd look super funny on stock prerunner suspension, any suggestions? (aside from buying a 5-lug or frame swapping)

    Oh yeah and spring under will help me hook better, as I lose traction up till 50 at part throttle...At Least on 10.5"W all terrains

    For reference I know nothing of lowering anything

    Hardest part would be need drop spindals to correct geometry if you wanna go lower than TR kit .Check out Torspd or hirod 2nd gen build. Have not seen 1st gen lowered on here yet

    In theory you could chop the spindle and re-weld it I guess, but is a lowered spindle necessary when you lower using coil springs? or cut springs (Ik not a good option)

    I wish i could make my 2013 DCLB have the same geometry of suspension as the earlier x-runner. I saw someone on here a '13 x-runner and I was almost tempted to buy it, but having a 7 year old makes the small seats tough.
