    1. I've noticed most builds list the high quality drop blocks. Is there an issue with the cheaper aluminum blocks (old school universal) being used on the newer Tacos? Or is it just personal preference?

    2. Is the air bag setup only really needed if a truck is c-notched and laying on the ground? The price of the adjustable rear gas shocks are close to the complete air bag setup so it made me wonder if you could bag a truck that had a mild drop.

    +1

    Handling the rear is simple.

Front end is where it starts getting complicated. It's not 1980 anymore... can't just de-crank the torsion rods.

Thanks for the responses. I just finished the 2/3 drop this weekend... SittinSic drop coils in the front and blocks in the back. I was really surprised that the ride is actually smoother with the drop coils than the harsh stock coils.

I will keep an eye out for the 4x4 leafs and improve the rear setup in the near future. I'm looking to stay around a 3" drop (total) for the rear, get the best ride possible, and prevent extra stress on the rear end. How much will the 4x4 leafs lower the rear?

All 2nd generation 4x4 leafs fit? If anybody here has gone with used/salvage 4x4 leafs how much did you pay?
