Lowes Destroyed my backup camera?

    I thought that was the "ohh, I just forgot what my lisence plate number was" feature... It freaked me out the first time I backed up with the tailgate down too though lol

    Edit: And I just realized that I revived a 3 year old thread...

    I would imagine everyone of us that has a back up camera has done this at one time or another (except me of course :eek:). Nothing like getting a close up view of your hitch and the pavement.

    I haven't used one with the camera in the head unit but the last 2 Tacoma's have had them in the mirror. I will say I like the 13 better than the 11 due to the grid and red line. I put the red line on my trash can that sits behind the truck in the garage and I'm home. I would imagine it would be nice having a bigger screen though.

    I could see having the camera in the head unit being nice, but I really like it in the mirror. I was always tought to back up using my mirrors, so it's natural for me to have the camera right there.

    Yeah it certainly doesn't bother me having it in my mirror. The only way I can back up is with a mirror.
