I bought my wifes 2013 Honda Pilot in Dec 2012 so it is now a year and a half with 21k , she called me yesterday and said her battery is dead while she was at work . I Told her to call Honda roadside assistance and they came out and replaced it at no charge .

66K 2009 OEM and still going. Bought in 08, lived in AZ for 2 years, the rest in Louisiana.

I did notice that it just started to start kind of funny, so now its time for an Optima

    Too few to list.
According to my service history, the battery was replaced at 26,445 miles(2.5 years). One day it was just dead and it was tested and found to be bad. It was replaced under warranty.

it's not miles it's years you gauge the batteries to. Most good batteries only last about 3-4 years........you're lucky if you get 5 years out of a battery.

5 Years and still going strong. I use my 4 Hella lights quite often and use the bed outlet a lot too. We also had a very cold winter this year and I had no issues starting

What is the big deal about maintaining proper fluid levels in a battery? Access is easy and the whole job takes less than 5 minutes. Some distilled water and a small funnel is all you need.

I recommend investing in the Diehard Platinum 31M. This thing is seriously no joke.
    1150 CCA. 75 pounds.
I swapped it in around the 12000 mile mark so i cant provide input as to the life of the stock battery.
