Nice! I still have to replace my transmission pan gasket. Mostly waiting for a good weekend where I can have the trans cool enough.

 

Free Speaker Upgrade Upgrade

I knew I wanted to seal up my door speakers better but hadn't yet got around to it. Today, a local business was closing and throwing out some old things, and I scored some XTC foam baffle enclosures for them, along with a 10" Subwoofer box!



Threw them on and they make a huge difference. I'll probably get around to the subwoofer at some point, the 12" I have works fine but I think a decent 10" will sound way better in the smaller cab. The box is also considerably smaller, which will be nice in my little access cab.




Not bad for a free mod but now that I know how much of a difference it makes in the lows and mids I would buy a pair in a heartbeat. If you're reading this and plan on upgrading your door speakers, do yourself a favor and get the foam seals along with it!​

 

New ditch lights!

Ever since I bought my truck, the large ditch lights bothered me. I had owned the Nilight pair I had on there for a while and initially had them on my old CRV. They worked great, but because of the size, they caused the brackets to shake and vibrate. I ordered a pair of slimmer Nilight 2 LED lights, and they don't shake at all now. The new lights now sit below the bottom of my old lights, and they look way better in my opinion.
