How many 1st gen guys would be interested in one of these? There will be a LP vs like the on in the pictures, as well as a roof line vs. The LP rack sits 10" off the bed rails, CNC laser cutout of 10g steel and CNC bent. All the 1.75" holes are dimple died for not only looks, bust strength as well.

The side bars as well as the upper bars are all adjustable to fit you're needs fr mounting a Hi-Lift, Rotopax or whatever it may be.

    Input and thoughts please :D

Hey OP I'm in Oregon and think that's a pretty slick deal!! If ya need a test truck...... Bout how much were ya thinking price wise on the first gen set ups??

I don't know how it would work but it seems like it'd be nice to have a model that'd accommodate still being able to keep a tool box... maybe a shorty version....idk just a thought....

I'll keep that in mind. As far as a shorty version goes, If you only wanted it 3 feet long then that wouldn't be a problem..You would have to tell me the total length you want it to be and it can happen.

As far as pricing goes, there is no difference in cost between the 1st and 2nd gens, only price difference will be on the cab height version.

So the $450 only covers the two rails? That's it?..... not the basket or whole kit...

The $450 covers the whole rack (SB) $475 for LB, the two uprights, and the connecting bars (total of 4).

The basket is separate and I will know cost on that this next week.

Could just the basket be ordered and attached to Thule or Yakima-like roof tracks?

    Lots...
Many of us drink beer... why don't you cut a little bottle opener on each side of the bars?

I believe that will be a great idea and will not affect your design!

BTW, it looks great! too bad shipping costs to Mexico are really expensive :(

How far apart are you're rails or tracks? The Basket is universal to mount to any roof rail, tracks. You would just need universal mounts from Yakima, Thule.

That is a good idea, and no, it can easily be done without effecting anything.. As far as shipping goes, if you were interested, PM me your zip code and I can get a quote for you.

Ok, went in for a bit to finish leaning up the parts and I dimple died the second upright. As you can see in the pictures, the tube will be welded to the tabs and both the sides and top center bars will be adjustable for anyone's needs.
