Just trying to see what sort of interest there would be in a group buy for SPC's light racing Upper control arms.

I have found a supplier here in Ontario that could get them here at a relatively reasonable price.

96-04 would cost $771.00 for the set

05-15 would cost $740.00 for the set

With 5 participants there would be a 10% discount off the listed price
With 10 or more there would be a 15% discount off the listed price

The prices do include shipping to Ajax Ontario. Anything beyond that would come at a cost to the purchaser. I will not calculate shipping beyond that, its up to you to estimate shipping. I will however get them shipped to you on your dime. So you can estimate shipping, the weight of the arms are for 96-05 17.5lbs/set and the 05-15 19.5lbs/set

Being that this is Ontario they would be subject to 13% HST

All prices are in Canadian, No shipping outside of Canada

If there is enough interest i will get this going

    Well....

Perhaps your not familiar with the exchange rate of the Canadian Dollar.

From what i can see from shopping online it would cost about $960 to purchase them stateside and have them shipped here

    But thanks for your input

I just looked up the exchange rate. It's much sharper than I thought. No need to get excited my intention was not to derail the thread. As you were...

    ... or here:

    https://www.amazon.ca/Specialty-Pro...-fkmr0&keywords=SPC+Tacoma+Upper+Control+Arms

$710 CAD shipped to your door...

.... and the taxes as well, if they ding you.

GB's in Canada are a tough row to hoe, but I appreciate you being ballsy enough to try.

Obviously. Don't read too far into it. It's just the internets.

Decent price, I would imagine there would be tax and duty and brokerage fees on that,

Only problem with those is they won't fit my truck, can't even find 1st gen arms on Amazon

    I do appreciate your appreciation

Figured I'd give it a go with the group buy up here but so far no good, not ready to throw in the towel just yet I'll leave it up for a bit

It would be interesting to see what the final cost on those Amazon arms would be to your door. Has anyone ever purchased them from Amazon?

Don't be so sensitive bud, I took no offence, and as I suspected you were not aware of the exchange rate

No duty - NAFTA / auto parts / made in USA

No brokerage - mailed by USPS

Tax - maybe / if the box is selected out of the thousands that go through Fort Erie daily

... and ya, first gen could be a problem finding. Keep an eye out in the First Gen Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

    Good luck!

So you don't think the will charge tax on check out?

First and only time I've tried to claim free trade on anything they said I had to pay a visit to my registrar general to approve it, wasn't worth it for the $11 at the time

By the looks of things this isn't going to get off the ground anyway

I sincerely appreciate your input on the subject,
