Ball joint #'s match the one's for FJ/4Runner. Waiting to hear back from SPC. I knew the taper looked shorter than oem.

Just got off phone with SPC. I got the wrong ball joints. Correct #'s for 2nd gen Taco is 25470118. The ones i recieved are stamped 25480118 for FJ/4Runners. I knew i wasnt installing wrong.

Just received the correct LR UCA's for my Taco. I got the new bushings to boot. Gonna put them on tonight. Metal Tech took care of me.

for future readers... IIRC the instructions say to check quantity and parts numbers before installation. I'd definitely check part #s.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread but I got my LR uppers and I'm going to install them next week but I have a question: the star plate that rests in the bottom slot on the upper arm is not rounded on one end like it is in the directions. Anyone else notice this with theirs?
